Plasma cuts

The source of heat melting the metal is glowing plasma arc between the electrode and the item.

Before creating the main plasma arc there secondary arc might be produced, which glows between the electrode and the plasma nozzle. High density of heat energy allows to conduct cutting at speeds of up to 10 m / min. Plasma arc is generated by the plasma source. Plasma sources used in mechanized cutting help to obtain a high quality metal cutting edge. (also thanks to a mixture of additional gases swirling, whose task is to further refine the plasma arc in the plasma torch.

Commonly used plasma gases for low carbon steel are: air and oxygen. To cut stainless steel nitrogen and mixtures of argon / hydrogen / nitrogen are been used.

Maximum dimensions: 3000 x 8000 (mm)
Maximum thickness: 150 (mm)

Computerized Numerical Control – CNC enable us to burn any shape of a work piece.

On request, we can also provide an item with the following tests conducted:

  • Ultrasonic Testing
  • Permeability test
  • The mechanical properties at different temperatures
  • Available certificates 3.2 (TÜV, GL, BV, ABS, DNV, LR)
